Never used it myself so far but what I have heard the lounge is quite well equipped and pleasant. I am sure some of the NZ regulars on here will provide more info for you. Can you change to something that connects better? For info on lounge see the lounge thread on this forum. MRSTARALLIANCE Feb 6, 04, 8:58 pm I had 7 hours between flights 3 nights ago in the Auckland Koru Club, came in from Sydney going to Hamilton. Was a great place to relax, the Koru Clubs seem to be by far the best Airline lounges ive been in with regards to food, besides SIA. Have fun and enjoy NZ David DavidNZ Feb 7, 04, 2:03 am Dave: 7 hours in the lounge at AKL when you were en route to HLZ? Yeesh! You coulda taken the bus to Hamilton and back again in that time, no? http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif Sorry, mate - had to poke fun at that one - not hard feelings, aye? MRSTARALLIANCE Feb 7, 04, 11:37 pm Hi Dave, long time no hear! Drop me a call one day soon! Oh no hard feelings mate, infact I though how stupid it was myself but oh well, the things we do for miles http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif Whats up with no *G this year Dave??? Best wishes to all Dave Dave Kiwi Flyer Feb 10, 04, 8:27 am Originally posted by MRSTARALLIANCE: the things we do for miles http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif and for such a small number of them! DavidNZ Feb 10, 04, 2:30 pm Yep, no *G for 2004. I actually got the 'welcome to prestige' kit in the mail yesterday. Actually, both my wife and I got it the same day (she didn't make *G either). It was a sad moment. Am in BNE at the moment, but will drop you a line in early March. Interestingly, my bag didn't quite make NZ205 CHC BNE on Sunday night. We were late on the DUD CHC flight so it just wasn't gonna happen. Needless to say, I wasn't really that surprised when it didn't come round the carousel at BNE. No harm, Freedom brought it out the next day! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif |
