Sorry to post this here, but I've run into a brick wall.

Last year when in NZ I purchased a prepaid sim card for my phone. Got a great number, and since I plan to be back I would like to keep it. Logged on to vodafone.co.nz to recharge it, asked to have a password sent out and was informed that the password had been sent to my phone.

Not a good idea. Since the prepaid card only works in NZ, I have no way of accessing the SMS with the password. I then figured I'd call customer service but it seems they only have a 0800 number that cannot be reached from the US.

Unless the card is recharged before the end of this month it will be cancelled. If anybody has a regular phone number for Vodafone, or any suggestions on how to solve my problem, please let me know. I did send an email to Vodafone, but they didn't reply. Thanks.

Try +64 9 357 5198

Have you tried the online form (http://www.vodafone.net.nz/contactus/contact_form.jsp?pgHead=Contact%20Us&contValue=1), checking the "contact me at my email address" option. Also I would state in the query/comments "please contact me at my email address" or similar.

Cheers

I could kiss you (well, almost)! Called the number you gave me, got the card topped off and I'm all set for the next 12 months.
The contact form was the one I used to send email to Vodafone, but I never got an answer. Thanks again.
