Air New Zealand Air Points - How to get credit if don't have boarding pass?

The boarding pass for my Auckland-Christchurch flight was tiny - almost like the luggage thing you put your address on if you need to put id on a luggage. Because it resembled a luggage tag, I tossed it w/o thinking (my other 2 flights w/in NZ had normal size boarding cards - the guy in Auckland said they were trying to save trees - I thought it was funny at the time - not now)

ok, the server is acting weird - couldn't finish. anyway, checked ua site & auckland-christchurch didn't post (it was a fare that qualified for mileage - all 3 of them were). since i accidently tossed the b.p., how do i get credit for the flight? any & all suggestions appreciated. cheers.

ps - had a fab time in nz - trip report to follow.

Glad you had a good time here, Sharon!

If you contact NZ Reservations at (800) 262 1234 when you get back home, they'll be able to help by contacting UA on your behalf.

Was this tiny boarding pass from one of the QuickCheck machines or did you check-in normally at a desk? I've noticed that the BP's that the machines spit out are extremely small and don't seem to print out your FF number or status, and yes they would be extremely easy to use...

i checked in normally at the desk. this was the only leg w/ the itty-bitty luggage tag type pass; the rest were normal. will go on ua's site to see if it posted & if not, then will call 800#.
