Sorry about that dreadful typos on the heading........and I haven't been drinking but it should read 'Merry Xmas to everyone on the Air New Zealabd Board'

To everyone on this board...have a great Xmas and New Year.

Thanks to all of you who have made some contributions to this board over the last 12 months. Your advise and assistance has been invaluable to us all.

Lets make the next 12 months just as good.....

Cheers
Brent

It being an especially slow christmas party at work today (coupled with the fact that I cant drink and like to see who leaves with who every year (great for when you need to get yourself out of a bind at some stage in the new year (blackmail - me? How dare you!) - I thought I would wish all the NZ forum regulars a very merry christmas (not that this comes with much christmas cheer - in fact it is pretty hollow ... my christmas cheer died in mid January) and an even happier new year. I do hope that you all get to spend some quality time with your loved ones (or indeed by yourself if you are that way inclined (hey dont knock it!)) and the new year brings everything that you want it to (and remember new years resolutions are best made in July - that way you have plenty of time to decide that the gym membership isn't really such a good idea!

And to those of you who have just been snubbed - there is a sure fire way to get yourselves a mention in luftaom's 2004 Xmas honour roll (you can wear it with pride or shame - choice is yours)... Starting a flame war is guaranteed to get yourself a mention or double your snub back!

For my part, I travel not to go anywhere, but to go. I travel for travel’s sake. The great affair is to move; to feel the needs and hitches of our life more nearly; to come down off this feather-bed of civilisation, and find the globe granite underfoot and strewn with cutting flints.

Sorry I am a little late, but nevertheless, Merry Christmas to everyone on this board. Have been travelling around. I experienced NZ's Tasman express service SYD-AKL and did TG AKL-SYD. Inspite of the hot meal on TG, I still found NZ's Tasman express meal to be tastier and more filling (warm brownie was really nice, and so was the cold beef salad). The wine in TG Y class was undrinkable!

I'm baaaaaaa-ack! Did you miss me? No, I thought not! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

I don't know about you lot, but I've had a fantastic couple of weeks holiday - one in NZ, one in Oz - which was so good that I didn't even so much as *look* at FT. Of course, as a result I'm now in such a state (first day back at work and all) that looking at FT is about all I'm capable of! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif

Here's a belated but nonetheless heartfelt Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all - thanks for making the NZ forum an entertaining (and sometimes even informative) place to hang out in 2003, and here's hoping 2004 is even better. Special thanks to Mr Sydney for the superb typos in the heading of this thread (I love the way that even your correction has a typo!)... and he claims he hasn't been drinking - methinks the gentleman doth protest too much! And for the charming luftaom, thanks for your kind words and laugh-out-loud funny posts over the year (I'll never forget the ExpressMate incident of '02!) and sincere hopes that 2004 brings you more in the way of health and happiness. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif
