What is C and D class in English? They don't show Z class now I know but what is C & D on a 2 class service?
Thanks in advance.

Rule of thumb for NZ..

C = Full Business Class
D = Discounted Business Class
Z = Discounted Business Class
I = Frequent Flyer Points Business Class
U = Upgraded with points from Y class to biz.

Note on U class. NZs AP system cannot tell whether you upgraded from full fare or discount Y to Business.

Problem is that if you bought full fare Y you get credits for discount Y, and need to go through the annoying hassle of having this changed manually!

Is U just for Gold Elite confirmed upgrades then? I'm still just Gold (my profile mysteriously changed itself, I'll change it now) and all my upgrades from premium economy to business show up as premium economy on my statements, even when confirmed in advance (at 72 hours).

Paging airnzboy.

Please explain the A fare. Is it a discounted F fare?

Thanks.

A is discounted F

Wongo you get the class of service paid for, not flown, even when upgrades are confirmed in advance.

Back in the good ole days you recieved the class of travel flown, which made upgrades extremely cheap!
