Air New Zealand Air Points - Qantas or NZ for F & C/J

I will be doing two trips a year YVR-LAX AKL return.

Forgetting alegiances to either *G or OW, which carrier offers the most comfort and the best service?

QF is better in F and NZ is better in J. But QF does not have F service LAX-AKL so this applies only if routing via Australia. This fall QF opens new lounges at LAX which will give QF an advantage.

As for flying QF/NZ not too sure mate, I now fly through Australia to pick up the UA flights so don't fly NZ Longhaul anymore.

Thanks for the tips. The best routing for me is LAX-AKL, so I will stick to NZ J.

I flew NZ J last week on this route and it was very good service, no complaints at all.

Taupo is hometown for me, family are all there, however I have lived in Western Canada for 13 years now. I miss NZ, hence the trips back and forth! I will keep in touch.
