MilesBuzz! - On-Line Video from a LatinPass Mileage Run

Dan Adams, a television reporter with the Sacramento ABC affiliate and his friend David Barton, a travel reporter with the Sacramento Bee, recently completed a run for the 500,000 mile LatinPass bonus. Both put out stories this past week about their trip.

It seems neither of them had much fun with this trip. It's hard to say why. Many of us completed full million routes in less time, and had a great time along the way.

Their itinerary is interesting. It sounds like a travel agent developed the routing for them.

I'd like to see the TV reporter follow-up with LatinPass. His ability to receive missing hotel/flight credits might prove to be a benchmark for less "high profile" LatinPass members.

Hey, PG, thanx for the heads-up. Really enjoyed the TV guy and his video. The newspaper guy is another story. The reason that neither of them really enjoyed their trip is the purpose. It was not the lure of 1M miles, nor the adventure of the game. To them it was just another assignment and they treated it that way. They were smart to follow their instincts and not deviate from their plan, as the domino effect could have been catastrophic.

I wish I had the time to have taken the LP Million Mile Challenge. But, I am just as happy reading the posts and stories of adventure and daring. Now, just waiting for the romance! LOL
