Air New Zealand Air Points - NZ domestic runs 7/30

Dear NZ experts,

Thanks for all the tips! I have finalized my Down Under trip to fly Air NZ domestic business, before the introduction of Air NZ Express.

I will fly five segments on 7/30 -- basically AKL-CHC-AKL-WLG-CHC-AKL, which involves Boeing 767-200s and Boeing 737-300s and Boeing 747-400s. I will happen to enjoy all five meals offered by Air NZ -- breakfast, morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack and dinner. Hopefully, I will be able to take pictures of the meals and save them for sweet memories.

I have a question -- I am able to book a flight on NZ 90 from CHC to AKL... The flight will depart from the International terminal and what special procedures will take place?

Air NZ Boy and fellow NZ FTalkers... Will I be able to meet you by any chance?

This was what my travel agent pulled out of the system for me when I was about to book NZ 90.

It looks like I'll just miss you, unless you're staying in Auckland for a few days - I will be flying domestic business class (for the first and probably last time) AKL-CHC on August 2nd on NZ553 departing at 7.30pm (hey, I had to try the dinner service!). I fly in from Sydney that afternoon at 4.55pm, so if anyone will be around and would like to catch up for a coffee/drink, please let me know.

I will definitely contact you Air NZ Boy. I am now using a mileage award for the first RT between AKL and CHC. I am still flying the 6:50am flight into CHC, but then on the return, I am flying NZ 98 (international flight from KIX) from CHC to AKL. There is no seat on the "real" domestic flight. ANyway, I don't mind going through all those troubles, since I have no bags.

I will arrive at AKL on 7/29, and then leaving AKL on 7/31. I guess I will miss you Mad_Atta.

About flying NZ90 or 98, I will check in at the international terminal, and will have to go through immigration and custom. Am I right? I hopefully can get a few extra menus, from the previous Japan-NZ flight.
