Hi all
On my RTW trip in Businss, I will have enough Air New Zealand miles to hit Silver on arrival in Melbourne 24260 mile ticket x the KM conversion of 1.6 x Business Class Bonus of 1.25= 38816 and will be in Melbourne for a week.

Following this I will be heading Melbourne-Auckland in Business class

1640 miles x 1.6 km conversion= 2624 km
then moving to a Thai flight to Bangkok in Economy.

-Will my status have been updated in the System during my stay in Melbounre?
W-ill I be able to use any of the lounges in Auckland during my transit?
-Does Air New Zealand give bonus's per KM to those who have elite like United does?

Thanks guys!!

Dave

I believe you would get better responses in the Air New Zealand forum, not in MilesBuzz

AFAIK, Airpoints reviews status monthly, and if you've flown enough to achieve a higher status it takes effect from the 1st of the following month. Unless you're really lucky with your dates, you probably won't yet have your status when you leave Melborne, unfortunately

I don't think so, because you'll be departing in economy

No! I wish it did
