If I change my address from Australia to Japan, will that mean I would have to leave the program as the rules state that membership is restricted to AUS and NZ

Hi davistev

Membership is actually open to residents of the UK and Asia if you can supply Airpoints with a business or first class ticket/boarding pass on AirNZ. I don't think you can simply change an address from NZ/Oz/Pacific to UK/Asia unless you are Gold Elite or (of course) can send them a J ticket and BP, but send an email to Airpoints just to check.

Cheers, Zac

Yes, I sent Airpoints an email but I am waiting on a reply. I am working on contract here in the UK and my next assignment is in Japan. I have an Australian Address (parents) that I use but I would rather receive all my correspondence and award tickets in Japan as my Parents are nuts !!!!! and would keep track of everything I do.

The main purpose is to transfer my starwood points to Airpoints and redeem on Air Canada for C class Nagoya-Toronto tickets for 90,000 points (around 38,000 Starwood points). This is an excellent deal.

Does Air New Zealand send tickets to business addresses rather than residential addresses?

Comments appreciated.

No reply from Air New Zealand.

Does anyone know if Air New Zealand will send reward tickets to your business address on file rather than your "residential" address. I am looking at claiming Air Canada flights from Airpoints and have NZ send them to my Japanese address.

Also, does NZ have e-statments?

I ask these silly questions on FT because I am now in London and the time zone for direct calls to New Zealand is not favourable.

No e-statements, unfortunately. Online info is limited to the total # of air points you have.

I've heard of people using a Mailboxes Etc service for this. They will forward mail from a local address for a few $$s a month.
