I had ,y suitcase stolen a few weeks ago at LAX an thus lost my travel wallet includeign all of my cards and passport. Needless to say that has not stoped me but tommrow I am flying CDG-FRA in Tempo. Will I have a problem accessing the lounge with out the actual Red Card in hand?? I went to the sales office in Paris today and got a print out of my account and status and the AF agent insisted I would not have a problem. What do you all think?

I don't think you will have a problem. If you already have a Red card you already know how important it is to be polite to the hostesses.

Yes of course. You always get more with honey!! I just know they can be difficult sometimes if you dont have the actual card in hand.

AF might allow you in without the card, how about other Skyteam airlines. I should qualify for rouge on 16th December. I will be travelling with AZ over the New Year, but with Christmas I will not have the card by then. This probably happends quite often at the end of the year, are lounge gatekeepers in MXP likely to be sympatico to a Bleu card and a printout of the webpage showing the recent flights?
Had the case once in CDG, but had no problem as on the boarding pass there was a FR+R mention, which was sufficient with the agent.
What I did is explain politely my request (which made the agent look at the boarding pass)and not DEMAND access.
So aa767flyer, if you have already decided to be "polite", I think you will have no problem. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

Your ticket should have the information about you as AF+ Rouge member on it, so show them the boarding pass. Otherwise, give them your AF+ number and they can look you up in the computer. They did that for me before I received the card.
However, with other SkyTeam airlines you may have a problem. But again the status should be on your boarding pass (if it is an AF ticket).
Keep us posted on what happens

Thanks for your help on this. No problems got right in. Loung was pretty nice for an Intra-Europe one.
