Air France Frequence Plus - Buy tickets in Paris dowtown: avoid the store of Champs Elysées

Air France and Delta have created a new and huge ticket store on the Champs Elysees.

I used to go there often for Delta, and some times also for Air France when the ticket I got on the web seemmed to be too expensive.

Concerning Delta, you have often less than 15 minutes to wait.

Concerning Air France, the organization is very poor.
If you go there satursday morning or in the early afternoon, half an hour or so is usual.

Satursday afternoon (3 pm, 4 pm) is really a nightmare, the people are not nice at all, and you have often more than one hour, which is, sorry to say that, inacceptable.

Now, I am going to the other little stores, like on Opera or Jardin du Luxembourg.

Air France is really not good to make pax having good time with them

The other solution is to call, it's may be the better one (except you hava also often to wait...).

30 minutes? Wait time at my DL CTO here in MUC is usually less than 5 minutes, although there is a good deal of traffic there.
Fast and efficient I would say - but again, you're speaking of AF...

Felis,
you could try the Air France office in the Palais des Congrès (Porte Maillot).

It's only a few minutes away from Champs-Elysees, you can easily park your car, etc.

I agree with ahrz. The agency at the Invalides location is usually pretty good as well.

I used the Invalides location before and found the staff there to be quit pleasant actually. There also was no line either at 11 am.

I actually like the Invalides as well, they've always been nice to me there. Imagine that.

I liked it even better when they had that little museum downstairs next to the poubelles, where you could buy all sorts of AF stuff.

Very glamorous museum.

[Thanks a lot for all your comments.

Yes I used to go to the Opera, which is closed now and was a nightmare too, or the other one on the Avenue de l'Opera, which is better.
Luxembourg (in Quartier Latin) is pretty OK, also it is very small and you need to wait sating, practically no seat available.

I never tried Invalides, which is, in fact, very convenient for me. That's more than a good advice.

The problem occurs when you have to deal with delta and AF. No choice then, Champs-Elysées is the only choice....
