Phones Programs/Partners - MCI Mileage Plans w/ no cost??

trying to use MCI as the qualification credit for the FFF3 promo.. but I don't want to have to pay the monthly service charges since i really don't even use long distance at all. I have a local line that I need for work, so I figured I might as well earn the miles...

i just talked to the MCI rep (sounded like a 13 yr old girl), and she's saying that i have to pay at least $2.95 .. is this true?? Please advise.. and thanks in advance!!

That's true, the min. monthly fee is $2.95 + tax. I have signed up for this since 5 months ago, still not getting my bonus miles. Called them up, they said they need 60 days to investigate, this is ridiculous!

anyone know a way around it??

In the past when I've used MCI, I asked for a no-fee/no-minimum plan that had a 35 cent per call connection fee. Since I made my calls on www.onesuite.com (http://www.onesuite.com) the per call fee was of no concern. I don't know if they still offer this plan, but it's worth inquiring.
