Should I sign up for MCI or ATT wireless. I'm familar w/ residential programs, but not wireless. I'm UA 1K but have other programs as well. Want to maximize mileage earnings. Don't want to be getting $1=1 mile if I can get $1=5 miles. Ideas, anyone? My e-mail is Stevedca@hotmail.com

I'm not familiar with UA, but if you go with Sprint and NW, you get 5 miles for every $1 and there is a 5000 bonus for activation.
Remember that MCI Wireless is re-sold from one of the licensed carriers in the area--for instance, in Atlanta, it is BellSouth. This isn't necessarily bad, depending on your feelings about the carrier. In essence, you'll be getting one of the "original two" carriers in your area, wholesaled to MCI.

I have been told by MCI Wireless here in California that they do not offer any miles for their program.
