CommunityBuzz! - Las Vegas 2/14 - 2/15

Taking advantage of the double miles promo that AA is offering on it's non-stop BOS-LAS service. Arriving around 11:00PM 2/14 and departing 10:00PM 2/15, staying at the LV Hilton. Anyone around for lunch or maybe an early dinner on Sat. 2/15? Any recommendations on where to have either? The last time I was in LV was in the early 70's so don't have a clue!

If you do a search in the FT Dining or FT Travel boards you will find lots of information regarding where to eat. I enjoy the buffets at Harrah's and Paris as well as the MGM. They're not that expensive and it doesn't break up your entire day. The range of food in Las Vegas is from the very cheap (fast food) to the extravagant (at the Bellagio, Venetian, etc.)

Again, if you go to search under FT Travel and Dining you should find some threads. Enjoy yourself.

But they still have those people on the street trying to hand out the numbers for "nude dancers directly to your hotel room." A common way for some FT's to earn extra money for mileage runs while in Vegas, right Liz?

Hmmmmm...nude dancers to the rooms huh? Wonder if they'd hire a 50ish guy......nah....I wouldn't make any extra money THAT way, unless they paid me NOT to dance! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif My luck would be better at the slots!

I'll be knocking around LAS from the evening of the 13th until a.m. on the 17th. Travelling with kcvt jr., so we're just doing things that appeal to 13 yr. old f's (rollercoasters, Elvis sightings, more shopping than I can handle...).
