Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer - Former SIA CEO's Point of View

Former Singapore Airlines CEO: "The international airline business is
notoriously unprofitable, yet no other business can boast of a larger
profusion of players. In a world of sanity, a company that constantly loses
money will go bankrupt or be acquired. But the aviation world is lunatic: in
it, every country must have its own airline, the airline cannot go bankrupt
- or hardly ever, for in many cases it will be kept alive by public funds -
and acquisitions are next to impossible. The result is endemic surplus
capacity and uneconomic pricing as desperate airlines price desperately to
fill empty seats", Cheong Choong Kong, 16 July.
Khoa's remarks: I am totall unimpressed by Cheong Choon Kong's comments. Well, SQ is losing money at the moment and things are not very impressive and therefore I am totally unimpressed with SIA at the moment.
Your argument is clear as mud. I can't figure out if I agree or disagree with your state of unimpressedness.

How dare you use my name in such a way as to imply that I posted such a thing.
I call on the forum moderator to remove this thread immediately and delete the above username account.
I'm sure his powers that be can verify my words.

I don't see what there is to argue with here. These are not so much statements of opinion as simple facts!

Well I'm glad no one has been naive to say that it's the same person posting under two names.
The point is that the user name being used by OneWorld Fan "Khoa Huynhuk" is actually my real name.
Hence, this post and user must be deleted immediately.
Hopefully that explains a lot.

I think its safe to assume that Singapore Air is telling the truth, and that the above username needs to be deleted immediately, and this thread locked/deleted.

S_air,
Pardon me, but how do you know OWF is behind this? He's been a thorn on this SQ board's side on a regular basis, but that doesn't automatically make him guilty.
My point is, while you've got your regular fan club at airliners.net, you've also been much maligned there too. You win friends and also enemies because of the way you exhibit undying passion for SQ.
Not trying to defend OWF, but maybe it's one of those from a.net?

Hey Singapore_Air,
I think you have a good point here, asking for the thread to be deleted.
Do you think it would be worthwhile taking your name off any profiles relevant to air travel? That way your risk to identity theft diminishes over time.
Regarding your thoughts about it being Oneworld Fan - that could be slander, (since I presume only moderators have the ability to verify your claim), and a quick apology should be offered. No need to go into any further discussions afterwards - just a 'hands up' and that's it.
Regards
Mike
(PS was wondering where in Vietnam youi're from? My other-half is Vietnamese, but he refuses to teach me anything. I have to resort to an online dictionary to 'surprise' him! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif)

Thank you all,
Though Oneworld Fan might not be guilty, he is. I will e-mail B Watson immediately and provide him with proof. Unfortunately however, this will take time and I hope you are all patient with this matter.
I shall be vindicated, if anything I am sure of that.
