I have a choice of a 777 or an A340 on an upcoming PEK-SIN in business class.
Which one would you choose?

Droneklax Jul 22, 02, 1:56 pm Thanks! 777 it is. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif miles4all Jul 24, 02, 3:56 am You might have to hurry anyway if you still want to enjoy the A340 in SQ service. Last Friday I saw an A340 with a completely blue painted tail and a changed body striping. This plane is on its way to Seatle and not coming back. Some may be sad, the A340-500's have been delayed by SQ. Personaly I only regret missing the configuration of the 340; 2-2-2 in Business and 2-4-2 in economy, highly superior to the 777. For the rest I like the 777 too. The 777ER aircraft with the SpaceBed are generally used on ultra long-hauls (to the U.S. and Europe). The 777 aircraft used intra-Asia are normally configured with either the Ultimo seat or an older variety of business class seats. It just depends on a/c cycles. |
