Cathay Pacific Asia Miles - AA award usable on CX DXB-DPS?

Excuse my award-redemption ignorance. The AA site has a table that seems to say that I can obtain an award that includes the middle east and "Asia 2" for e.g. 60k in biz. Does that really translate into being able to use CX to fly DXB-DPS-DXB (via HKG, of course)? Are the rules much like domestic awards in that one en-route stopover is allowed?

I suppose you're right - but so many of the threads over there deal with such mundane issues as the quality of the lunch meat in the infamous bistro bag or the distance between gates (not that I haven't addressed such issues myself) that I lost sight of the fact that there are indeed worldly folk over there, too. I'll go ask.
