Any comments about the compartive J class products of JL and CX on the KIX-HKG route for their daytime flights (both leaving around 10am)? (CX uses the 330, JL their 767.)

(CX uses the 330, JL their 767.) Carfield Mar 15, 04, 3:19 pm I think CX is much better JAL in terms of J class service. JL serves you a one course/one tray lunch service, while CX serves a full international style main meal with various courses. Both CX and JL have PTVs on their new planes... (JL's new 767-300ERs come with PTVs at all cabins), but I think CX's program is better. About seats, JL uses a very basic regional configuration with 40" of legroom on its Boeing 767 fleet, and CX's also often a regional business class seats, but with 45" of legroom. JL has a 2-2-2 six abreast seating on Boeing 767, which make the seats very narrow, and CX's A330 also has a six abreast seating, which is more comfortable. On Boeing 777, it has the seven abreast 2-3-2 seating... I hope this information helps... CX also has a nice lounge in Hong Kong, while JAL lounges at either HK or Tokyo are pretty blend with nothing spectacular.
