Unfortunately my next CX trip from LAX this Wednesday will be in BC.
I would love to change into my old CX FC PJ's for optimal comfort.
Ok or not Ok?

I've done it. Minimal weird looks from other pax. Approving looks and comments from FAs. All in all, it's just fine.

And the senior FAs can tell exactly which year your PJs are from as CX changes the style every 6 months. So you are also broadcasting exactly how long it has been since you flew F.

Not necessarily! Just might be broadcasting how long you've been flying F...

</font>Good point ... most of the CX pyjamas have a half-life that is an order of magnitude longer than BA and QF (both of which disintegrate after washing). Even SQ doesn't last. Only LH has better quality in the old Bogner sweaters (no longer offered), those were wonderful (but not quite PJs). Can you tell that I am in the BOS FL and bored (being the only pax in here, they do keep it nice and quiet and well served).

I wear the bottom half . The new QF PJ's quality seem to be better.
CX ones whilst better are bulkier.
The more I fly, the less I care about impressing the FA's anyway..

I guess I agree - I find the whole notion of trying to impress the cabin crew somewhere between funny and sad.

I'm not sure I agree with that. I have some of the old QF white top/blue bottom PJs which have survived many, many washes. The same with the all navy blue ensemble from QF.
The best CX PJs I thought were the grey ones with the full length zip for the top. Much easier to get in and out of, and with built in climate control.
I always change into old F PJs when travelling in J on long haul. Much more comfortable and keeps your regular clothes nice for arrival. On some QF transpacific flights in J, 1/2 of the J cabin changes into their old QF jammies!

My wife and I just flew AF in 1st last Sunday and the PJs were Christian Lacroix (?). My wife said they are very good. They seemed some of the nice ones to me.
Now I normally wouldn't be flying AF, but we were heading to Cairo to start our AONE5 RTW.
