Cathay Pacific Asia Miles - Access to CX first class lounge in HKG

As you are aware, if flying on another airline the highest level Diamond card member, even though the other airline is One World, has to use the Business class lounge. Correct?

For an AAdvantage Executive Platinum holder can you get access to the CX First Class lounge because of you OW Emerald status?

If you are connecting to a OW flight and you're EXP then YES you can use the First Class Lounges in the Wing/Pier.

As a member of the AA Executive Platinum (OW Emerald), you are allowed to access the Cathay Pacific First Class lounges in HKIA.

You will certainly enjoy the Cathay lounges at HKIA - simply the best in the world of airport lounges.

Correct?</font>Not correct, Diamond would use the F lounge when flying on any Oneworld airline. But very few F lounges exist (AA has 5 out of 100+ cities, for example). Diamond and EXP are treated exactly the same in this regard (OW Emerald). Also Diamond has access to the F lounges of CX even when not flying a OW airline (while Emerald would not).

I think Diamond is allowed to use the business class section, not the F section, when not flying a oneworld carrier. This is perhaps new or maybe I've been just mistaken?

I'm with Chiangi on this - business class lounges when not flying OW as a Diamond.
