according to today's edition of MingPao Biz section, Yeung Yuen Yuen (i don't know how to translate his title rank) said it's only a matter of time when asked if CX will be permitted to fly to PVG and XIA. no formal agreement has been signed yet but there are only minor differences right now between both sides and they believe they can reach an agreement in the very short term.
my apologies, i should have reworded the title of this thread as "CX expected to have mainland approval to fly to PVG / XIA imminently"
