Cathay Pacific Asia Miles - anyone else on inaugural HKG-PEK on Dec 2?

I am going to take this new HKG-PEK service with its first flight on Dec 2...wonder if there will be other FTers on the same flight?

I am booked on the inaugural flight to Beijing on the 2nd December in Business Class.

I looked at the press releases on CX's website today, and they had two (dated 02 and 03 March) talking about the celebration of CX's inaugural flight to Beijing today. If I'm not mistaken, hasn't CX already been flying to Beijing for a few months now?

Got me confused as well.

Dec 2, 2003 is the first flight, while Mar 2, 2004 is the official celebration...

I don't remember where I heard/read it from or what the source is, but I was told that this has something to do with feng-shui or something, so they postponed the official celebration to a few months later?
