I am flying with CX (I have gold membership) and he's with another carrier. I am allowed to bring one guest but I don't know if they check that the guest is flying with CX or not. I invited a lady I met on one flight a couple of months ago to the F section of the Pier. She had something like three hours to kill while I had less than 40 minutes to connect to an onward flight. I don't usually talk to other pax on the plane but she was such a polite lady in her manners that I just thought that she deserved a nice rest before a long flight.
