FT,

UA 1K with no Oneworld status going from Taipei to Bali via Hong Kong on CX.

Last year on a full Y ticket between Beijing and Taipei via Hong KOng, I got a window seat row 66+ on a 747-400 which wasn't so bad since I had the better two seats config.

These flights are showing to me as the A330's. Any chance at booking an exit row seat as a zilcho status? Other wise any seat suggestions for a party of two?

TIA

Try to arrive the airport early if you really want an exit row seat. Otherwise, A330 are configurated in 2-4-2, therefore getting the window/aisle (seat A/C or seat H/K) seats are ideal for a party of two.

Checking Seatexpert helped.

Thanks for the information on 2 4 2 configuration.

If I can't get row 54, the I guess any 2 seats on the side will do.

more questions:

a) Is it possible to get boarding passes issued in Taipei for each segment?

b) Is there another chart somewhere which lists which seat rows have the PTV's underneath?

TIA

Boarding passes for your entire journey will be issued in TPE.

You'd have sufficient legroom in Y even though there are the PTV control box under the seat. Most of the 777s have it.
