I want to book a ticket on CX leverage, but it does not come up with the booking class and I want to make sure that I get an eligible AA class for mileage.

Does anyone know what class CX Leverage fares are booked in.

Tks

Considering that CX promotes the CX leverage fares in conjunction with AAdvantage, I would say that these are in H class.

In my experience using CXLeverage, it's definitely possible to see fare basis through the web interface. Try looking again?

I don't have my account credentials here, so I can't readily write up the procedure. I recall it being a bit weird and a bit counterintuitive, but not that bad.

Pls post again if you're still stuck, and I'll find the method for you.

As of last June, Coach is booked in H class and business in D class.

Is D the lowest fare for Business? How can you see the least expencive city for best fare?

Does it seem as though these fares seem to higher recently?

Not just "seem" higher! They really are higher!

An itinerary I flew last year was $2800 r/t in D, now is $3300. Quite an increase! (I may have the specifics a bit wrong, but when I checked carefully earlier this fall, the increase was $500, that much I'm sure about.) I suspect increase may result from UA pulling out of SFO-TPE nonstop, causing a reduction in capacity to TPE and, inevitably, an increase in fares.

Are you getting the PUBLISHED DX28 and DW28 fared to TPE mixed up with the CXleverage fares?

DX28 is about USD 2800 RT (valid mon-thurs for transpacific)
and DW29 is about USD 3300 RT (valid fri-sun for transpacific)

These fares are available to everybody! (to TPE from U.S. Westcoast)

Ah, yes. Good catch! The DW fare was lower, for my dates of travel, than anything CX Leverage offered. So that's what the CX Leverage site ended up selling me.

But I have a DW round-trip ticket from last year that shows total fare of $2800, whereas now, as you say, the fare prices out at $3300. Hence my conclusion of a fare increase.

Bedelman or others

The booking class/fare code details are coming up as follows:

Enter RB33-XX where CX equals primary carrier.
Any insights?

Got $2457.00 lax to TPE on Cx. Not bad I reckon!

Thanks

Guy Betsey? Can you look up RB33-CX in Sabre?
