Cathay Pacific Asia Miles - What seats to get at 155am(881) Lax to hkg

My friend and I are flying out of lax to hkg on flight 881. how do I find out which plane we are going to be on? which seats we want and can choose (m class) and can we reserve seats online somewhere? Power ports? Of course we can call...but cant we do this somewhere online? and Yes I tried their website. Thanks for your help in advance.

CX881 is a 74J (large biz class 744). I don't think there are any power ports on 744's in any of CX's fleet (I could be wrong, haven't been in 744 Y for a long while). For inter-Asia, I know the A333's and A346's have power ports in rows 30, 31....not sure about the rest.

74B for SFO-HKG definitely does not have powerports, not even in J.
