Cathay Pacific Asia Miles - CX 785 HKG-BALI and return in J

Hey,

Have a trip to Bali on Monday. The aricraft is a 330/777 EQU (it seems it changes frequently). No F just J.

I am in 14A on the 785 HKG-DPS
I am in 14K on the 784 DPS-HKG

It's a whopping 4+ hour plane ride...

What can I expect in terms of service? food? Video on demand?

And the Lounge in BALI?

Regional configuration J, which means no NBC, no AVOD. Food and service are the usual CX standards. Lounge in Bali is fine, with some couches, food, restrooms. It is not the Wing. Then again, DPS is not Chep Lap Kok either. Think Leo's "The Beach"...

I have not flown this route in J. But I know that in Y, two meals were served, B/BR (bkfst ham/cheese croissant) and a full L.

After the bigger pond, this trip feels quite long, although scheduled for four-forty.

I posted a trip report for HKG-DPS-HKG in J last month. Here is the link. You'll have to search for it within the report, but the report includes menu transcripts, so it is pretty detailed.

By all means, make sure you go to the lounge in DPS, it is not the Wing, but it is really, really nice and has a great food spread and an outdoor viewing area.
