I suspect you can get that at some tourist desk at the airport, too. Inbound to HKG yesterday on CX there was some kind of announcement about a promotion, valuable coupons, etc. that I didn't pay enough attention to...

There is currently a booklet called Welcome PASSPORT to Amazing Offers put out by the HK Tourism Office. It contains a 2 for 1 coupon for the Airport Express and one that gives free admission to HK Museums, among other offers. Most are valid through the middle of September, some through October. It is available from the kiosk at HKG, or their various offices worldwide.

Isn't there also an ongoing discount on the Airport Express if you have an Octopus card?

A free connecting journey on the MTR at each end (in fact I think it is the first/last MTR journey within 24 hours) although perhaps there can't be any other transactions on the Octopus in between.

The coupon worked fine for me yesterday - Airport<->Hong Kong for HK100.
Showed Boarding Pass as stated on cert and it was given back by the agent.
Had a 15 minute wait for the train so it was pretty busy by the time we left, but no one standing.

If someone finds an Airport Express coupon good for use through either end of May or June next year, please grab two and send it to me! Otherwise I'll have to hope CX rolls this one over.
