Cathay Pacific Asia Miles - online booking

i am about to book a "h" class ticket from lax to hkg, my ta and cx.com (cathay-usa) both price out at the same rate. do i get any bonus miles from buying at cx.com? id rather by from my ta so that she gets a commision but if i get a bonus from cx she'll have to make her money elsewhere....

I've never bought from cx.com but it does not look like there is any advantage to buying from there.

I looked into booking my flight to Bali from HKG using the website.. and the lowest price that I got was exactly the same as my Travel agent's price...

So I decided to use my TA... (She gets a commission on the rate- as oppose to CX)...

I dont know why CX does not offer prices that are reduced for commission...
