Has anyone taken a look at the April downloadable OW timetable and compared it to the diminished flight schedule of Cathay and others with stations in the SARS area?

The CX web site "Disruptions" page says that schedule is not known beyond 7 days in advance, however they seem to be keeping core routes going (LAX-HKG still operates one flight a day every day). It does making planning a connection in HKG quite dicey unless you are within 7 days of the flight date. It's scheduled to fly on the 30th, though, so perhaps it's not gone "for good" (even temporarily). Checking in at BKK the other day, the departure boards were still listing a 9:?? flight to HKG that CX certainly wasn't planning to fly. As for the HKG-SFO cancellation for today, it's understandable. I took that flight yesterday (Apr 28); J and F each had about a 25% load, despite the downgague to the A340. |
