You may call CX res in France and ask if there are any "U" class (which is the award code for upgrades) for the day that you want to fly. If its available, quickly call and book your CX ticket in economy.

You may then call TC and request for an upgrade for the same flight as on your ticket. When the seat is confirmed, TC will need your CX ticket number. Bring your ticket to a SWISS ticket office, where they will place a TC authorisation sticker on your economy class ticket.

It is still your responsibility to call your trvael agent or CX to cancel the economy class booking.

Note that your economy class points will not credit to whatever account you want it to be credited to automatically. Save all your boarding passes, and photocopy the ticket coupon with the TC sticker authorisation as proof that the flight taken was an upgrade.

Seat selection is to be made direct with CX.
