I just got a call from CX telling me my 747-400 flight from HKG to BKK in F was being changed to a Airbus. Got me thinking. I called regarding my CX from SFO to HKG. This is now a Airbus with 30 minutes more flight time to HKG. FYI

Hopefully they would be operating the A343 with 3 classes instead of their A333, which I dread when I travel within Asia on CX.

Give me a 330 with 2 class service on CX ANYTIME over a 767-300 on AA with no service!

Better than my news today - my afternoon flight from HKG to LHR in 10 days has been killed off - at least they protected me on the 12:45 am.

I got a double whammy.
SFO to HKG now A343 with the 1/2 hour later arrival and my flight BKK to HKG on 5/17 cancelled. Of course they protected me on the earlier flight.
The 11:00am time slot BKK to HKG has now been cancelled 2 of the 4 times I have booked it. At least they let me know in advance this time. Summer of 2001 during the pilots work to rule I found out at BKK airport.
