Cathay Pacific Asia Miles - What is CX Doing About Protecting Flyers on Cancelled Flights?

I was scheduled to fly on CX in F from Bangkok to Paris through Hong Kong. The HKG-CDG flight was just cancelled by CX as part of their SARS reaction flight adjustments. I am traveling on a UA/CX round-the-world ticket.

Before I contact CX to ascertain what options they will offer me, does anyone know what CX is doing in these cases?
