I was at the Wing yesterday and was solicited by a Netvigator representative (in the reading room). I was asked to sign up for a Netvigator account, and was told the e-mail access service would be free to me until 6/2003.

I was also told that over 60% of CX aircrafts are equipped with this service, and all CX fleet is expected to be equipped by the end of the year.

You can add as many pop3 accounts in addition to the Netvigator account and access them inflight.

Unfortunately, my flight (CX872) was serviced by an aircraft without this service (no surprise, since CX seems to use the oldest B744's in its fleet to service this route).

I also got an aluminium multi-functional pen (with 2 color pens, pencil, and a stylus tip).

Drop by the reading room (the Wing only, not available at the Pier) and make sure you sign up for the free trial offer! From what I understand correctly, most flights within Asia are serviced by aircrafts equipped with inflight email service (PCCW/Tenzing).

Details, refer to http://inflight.netvigator.com
