Cathay Pacific Asia Miles - Good Biz Class Fares Ex-MNL

I'm not sure if this has been brought up before, but I just found out that there are very good Business Class fares ex-MNL. Highlights of this include MNL-HKG-YYZ-HKG-MNL for $2250, and MNL-HKG-LAX or SFO-HKG-MNL for $1750.

1. where did you get that fare? from cx's website or elsewhere?
2. beware that a lot of these deals do not allow passengers to spend time in Hong Kong, ie, these force you to spend hours in the transit lounge.

I got that fare from a travel agent in MNL last year. My boss just bought the same thing himself from another agent out there in early Jan.

I had a bit of a quibble with my travel agent so I can't give any reccomendations, but any agent out there should be able to ticket the same.

When I bought this ticket the agent issued Paper (handwritten) tickets to me, and was able to conveniently forget to put the "X" next to HKG, on both the directions, although if my memory serves me correctly 1 stopover is definately 'legally' allowed.
