I did a search but could not find satistactory information on what seats to pick for my upcoming flights.

1/12 LAX-HKG CX 881 744
1/12 HKG-HAN CX 793 320 (operated by Vietnam Airlines)
1/25 BKK-HKG CX 702 744
1/25 HKG-LAX CX 880 744

I am flying Y. What seats would you recommend? Also can I even pre-reserve seats (I am a OW Ruby)? Can I expect any other benefits as Ruby? Is there anything like Exit Row on CX configuration in Y? If so, is it better or worse? Do exit row seats have foot-rests?

Forgive me to say this, but you should search more rigurously. This topic has been discussed numerous times, and I suggest you use key words such as "y seats" and read the previous posts. In previous occasions, when new users simply asks "what's best Y seat", no body bothered to give responses, because it's obvious they haven't done their home work.

Anyways, I suggest row 67, because they are 2 seaters. Now, if you want to find out more, do a search for phrase "row 67".

Why do you say that you're OW Ruby and yet you have AA-EXP on your profile? So what are you, Ruby or Emerald?

You'd have to call CX and ask them to do a seat selection for you. Bear in mind that CX blocks off many seats for airport release only or on a request basis (as in the emergency exit rows) based on their MPC status. Emergency exit rows have no foot rests (obviously) and you are wedged into the seat as the armrests do not move. You do have better legroom however.

First row ie bulkhead aisle sometimes gives you more legroom too but it depends on the configuration of the aircraft flown that day. Best to see the seat map on CX and take it from there on their website.

Try looking at the following link:

Normally, bulkhead seats on either side (seats A, C or H, K) provide more comfort. Again, refer to the seating plans and call a CX reservation agent.
