OK, so I messed up the title... $699 is the fare from NYC...

They say specifically you do not get AA miles for this fare. Does that mean you could get Asia Miles still or do these fares get no miles?

Interesting that verbage is at the link that was posted, I had already followed this link, http://www.cathay-usa.com/dotm/ , from an email they sent me, and it just mentioned AA miles.
Thanks for pointed out the additional verbage on the other link.
