I am trying to book a domestic ticket within China and am finding it difficult to do. The dates fall in the Chinese New Year zone and am worried about finding space. Does anyone know of a good agent that I can email or go to in Hong Kong to secure tickets?
Thank you in advance.

Without ploking $$ down, agents or airlines will be unwilling to just 'hold' the seat for you. It is a peak period to travel anywhere in Asia around Chinese New Year where most flights in all directions are generally full beyond the hilt!

domestic from where to where ?
go to Air China and book with them
if you fail to make the flight there is a 20% surcharge to amend the ticket to a new flight
holding an Air China ticket lets you onto other carriers also in China

try travelsky.com,
(i think you can email communicate with them about resesrvation etc. when you arrived at china, they could probably arrange delivery to your hotel)
i havent tried them myself.
but i think they are trustworthy, as they are owned by the government (indirectly under the chinese equivalent of FAA)
alternatively, if you stop by hk before going into the mianland, try those agents based in hk,
e.g. tiglion.com, hong thai, etc
