Cathay Pacific Asia Miles - CX D class LAX-HKG-BKK

Just curious about the business class service on the LAX-HKG route? I booked a seat in the upper deck at the exit row for both sectors.
What are the seats like? Is it possible to sleep most of the way? If you're AA Platunim do you have access to the FC lounge at the HGK airport if you're making a transfer?

I believe Carfield and ORDnHKG wrote some very detailed trip reports which are posted in that forum. Still showing as of a minute ago, (wish I could link for you). Each flew in biz-class. I can't say for sure but I don't think you'll be able to access the F lounge in HKG with either\or\and biz-class ticket\Plat Status.

You won't be able to access the F lounge unless you have EXP (OWEmerald) status.
Also, I assume you are taking the early morning flight from HKG to BGK, take care as the Pier lounge doesn't open till 8.30 am (from memory).
As you will probably be dying for a shower , head for the Wing lounge quickly. If there is a long lounge at the first Transit point , try the second.

i think it is actually open from 8:00 am to 11:30 pm...
