I have just received a WAP message notifying me that the award seat on Sept 5 I was waitlisted for has become available! Now that is cool.

i think it's an SMS message ?
anyway, i think it has been around for more than a year already...since march or so last year...personally i do think it's a great service !! and i think i heard them saying that this would be expanded to revenue booking (instead of just award booking) too...and will include service like email in addition to SMS...not sure if they have implemented it yet ??
this is one of those services that you don't usually think it's that useful or necessary...but you would find that it's great when you get to use it that few times a year...
