Cathay Pacific Asia Miles - triple mile offer is back! Also, 20,000 give away.

Just found this on Canada CX.com. Maybe you guys already know it oh well.. here you go.

Between April 1st and June 30th, if you fly between CAnada and HK, you will earn triple bonus points for all classes of travel. This sounds very much like what they offered to OZ residents a while ago. So those of you who got a Canadian friend/address, make sure you have them changed!

Also, updated on Cx.com. You can win 20,000 bonus points by simply sending out e-cards from their web site to your friends, telling them how fascinating HK is, or their travel experience of HK. It's part of HK tourism campaign "World's Biggest Welcome". They select a grand winner on the 15th of every month from July to September. So, those of you who have a friend who makes a living by writing articles, maybe it's time to act!

The difference between the Canada offer and the Australian offer is that the latter offered the triple bonus on all CX flights and over a 4 month period instead of Canada's offer of 3 month and between Canada and HKG flights only.

The offer is good but you need to have an address in Canada to get the triple miles

It's not too difficult. On the day your flight is scheduled, just nominate any Canadian address on the MPC webpage and have it changed. Then, after your miles are credited, change back to your normal address.

The bonus miles are done automatically on computer, so this will work. If not, find a friend in Canada and borrow their address.

i was planning to visit canada during june ex hkg. will i still be able to get the triple miles (one way) if i were to change my address during my stay in canada before heading back to hkg?

Might not be as simple as that Fakecd, I called up to change some information as my company moved me to a different hotel shortly after being in Hong Kong. I out of boredom checked my details and even the following day the information was not updated. I caled up and checked only to discover the info was correct so there does seem to be a delay in their systems communication.

I'd do the change a few days early to be safe or just call up.
