I have strong interest in using the online-booking from the CX website. HOWEVER, the problem is the price. I don't know how the computer reservation system searches for fares in the background, but I just don't understand why I can't buy excursion fares on the CX website.
I called the CX reservation office in Sydney, and they were able to give me a "k" class excursion fare equivalent to those I obtained from the travel agents. However, the lowest fare on the web I can find is always the 1-year open "B" class, even if it say "economy restricted".
Does anybody know how to get the truly "lowest excursion" fare on the internet? OR is this not allowed due to some sort of regulatory reason?
