I'm going to be doing some flying in North America for a change, and I'm trying to figure out if I will be able to use CX lounges if I'm not flying on CX. I'm Diamond, but I notice that many CX lounges are actually run by BA or AA, so I'm not sure if this means I can use them or not, if I'm not flying with a OW airline?? Anybody have any experience with this?

As a non-AA oneWorld Emerald member, you can use oneWorld clubs when traveling in North America.

But not if you're not flying oneWorld.

as CX Dm, u can access CX lounge whatever airline u fly. (but only the J lounge if there are both F&J lounges)

however, this means only LAX/YYZ/YVR/SFO/JFK, all on airside intl term.
so it does not help much if u r travelling domestic.

but if u r flying AA domestic, u can access FL/AC all the times. in some airports, if it is convenient, u can also go for BA's F lounges.

Hi Commuter.

You can use AA's Admirals Club lounges when you fly with AA. Just show your CX Diamond card.

An additional benefit to being EMERALD is that you're allowed to use International FLAGSHIP AADMIRAL'S CLUB LOUNGES wherever AA has them even if you're flying domestic AA flights.
