How is it (shower, food, accomodation)? How far is it from AA lounge and do you have to go through security to get there? Any other One World lounge I should check out? Thank you.

The CX lounge is one door down (to the left) from the Admiral's Club in NRT. You will have to clear security, since it's airside.

It's a fairly small lounge, seating about 40 people. No real food, just snack mixes as well as the usual drinks, alcoholic and non. There's a small fountain thingy right at the entrance to provide somewhat of a white noise. No showers. For that, you have to go to AA's Admiral's Club.

Its a clean, simple medium size lounge; comes with a large table with multiple internet access as well as a few private desks for telephone/internet. No showers but alot quieter than the AA lounge next door. ( as CX flights are not bunched together like all AA flights out of NRT ).

BA's lounge is also on the same floor. But I think they'll close after their second and last flight at around 1 p.m. CX, AA and BA and no other oneworld lounges, as far as I can think of.

The CX lounge has a bit more to eat, if you count those little rice triangles. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

Personal favorite is the CX lounge over the AA lounge - quieter, a little more relaxing. It is always difficult to find a seat in the AC. F&B is nearly identical between the two lounges.

If you want a shower, AA will let you in assuming you're PLT or EXP and flying a oneworld carrier. You can check them both out for yourself.

I took a big delay in NRT this summer due to a mechanical. The CX lounge was very slow to bring in any food and when they did it was those wonderbread style mini-sandwhiches. Bleah...
