Cathay Pacific Asia Miles - Discount economy for 100% Marco Polo Club miles?

I was under the impression (and so it says on the Internet) that some Cathay Pacific discount economy classes (such as S and M) earn only 50% of Marco Polo Club miles or tier points.
I was told that all discount economy subclasses, up to S, get 100% tier miles and points just like AsiaMiles.
Two agents confirmed this.
It seems the Oct. 29, 2000 subclass changes for eligible miles for AsiaMiles also meant to cover Marco Polo Club.
Does anyone can confirm this info is correct?
If it is, it will be a whole lot easier to qualify for elite status.

Effective 29 October, 2000, all Cathay Pacific flights in Economy sub-classes Y/B/H/K/L/M/S are eligible for 100% mileage accural in Asia Miles and Marco Polo Club.
There are no 50% accural for Cathay Pacific flights.
My brother got 100% for his flight on S class SUB-AMS. This is one thing that i really like about MPO, it is so easy to accrue miles!

Terms & Condition - Air travel credits
Mileage credits may only be earned on qualifying air tickets with airline Partners. Mileage credits are not awarded on industry/agency discount, award travel, prize, group or other special discount tickets; chartered flights and certain codeshare flights as specified by CPLP or airline Partners from time to time.
Mileage credits will be awarded based on the 'Great Circle Distance' in miles between the origin and destination airports. For connecting flights which require a change of flight number the sum of the great circle distance of each segment will form the basis of the credit.
The 'Actual Mileage Credits' earned is a proportion, based on Class flown or fare paid, of the great circle distance as outlined in the members' guide and as published from time to time by CPLP. There is no minimum mileage guarantee.
Eligibility for 100% or 50% of Economy Class mileage credit is based on the sub-class booked and shown on the air ticket. Eligible sub-classes for Economy Class are listed at the following website link:

as far as i know, MPO miles and Asiamiles are the same.
(i.e. whatever mileage accrued = tier credit mileage)

Thank you, epigram,etravelconsult,Odin,pegasus8228.
I somehow had assumed discount econ. fares count only half the point. I was quite aware of the Oct. 29, 2000 change in AsiaMiles.
I was the only one who was not aware of this. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif
