Cathay Pacific Asia Miles - Tenzing Email

has anyone got it to work on board yet ?
I was on CX 701 yesterday on the new Airbus with the new seats
They carry Targus on board and provide USB cable - but I found the software they have on board is newer than the one they sent me when I set up an account with Tenzing Also you can use the personal phone to call Tenzing free using *89 when it asks you to swipe your card - haha - then you get a recording saying they will call you back - how ?
You must open your computer without connecting the USB cable (I presume to your USB port as the information handbook is unclear on this) Then you plug in the USB to the armrest USB jack when your system is running
Then your computer says 'updating driver database '(which also is not shown in the Tenzing documentation)
Since they do not switch on the access and power till 15 mins after takeoff and close 15 before landing , well my system was still going through the driver database update when it was time to get off the plane
So much for that

Sending this from the new CX first class lounge in Bangkok - no aircon in the computer booths, new decor but same size as before No showers etc

Well, look on the bright side, at least the seats had power outlets.....I have a sense that this e-mail business will take some time to sort out...Perhaps a bit longer than CX is implying on their website. In the meantime, just being able to work on the plane (at least, for those long flights) would be nice...

actually a pax opposite me said he hopes it never works or people will be tempted to stay up playing on the internet with their light on whilst others are trying to sleep.
I had an email reply from Tenzing - then nothing else. Maybe they found that the thing does not work, just as I told them.
