I guess this is the place to go before I go to Marco Polo. I'm reserved in J on CX 889 (YVR-HK) on 31st October, and just went in to check the plane, and possibly reserve a seat. However, the plane is listed as EQV. Does this mean that they won't know what type of aircraft will be flying (till shortly before the flight)?
IF they do know, and it's 74B (seems normal), and I can't get the coveted seats 86A or K, what are the best other seats to get? My normal criteria.
-Prefer window, but only if no trouble getting around the person next to me, so seats with no seat in front are best. Otherwise, will take aisle. No other major needs/desires. Don't really care about top/bottom of plane.
Of course, it could be a different plane??
Any ideas out there. When I call CX, sometimes they are very helpful, sometimes it seems hard to communicate, and I've ended up with seats that I didn't think I was asking for. This time I'd like to be prepared......Thanks in advance for any ideas....
