Star Alliance - SYD - LAX : UA or NZ ?

I will be travelling between SYD and LAX next month, and I believe both UA and NZ fly this route. Any preferences out there ? Thanks!

In Y and C NZ.
In F UA (suites) - servicewise still NZ.

I've flown on both in the last year and while I have no complaints, I would opt for Air NZ.

I only have F experience on NZ. Definitely
UA w/ their Suite Seat if in F versus NZ.

Suites or no suites, NZ in F for their service.

I have also flown both recently and agree NZ unless in first. The service on ANZ completely outclasses UA.

I'll also say Air New Zealand if flying between SYD and LAX in Coach or Business, but UA for First. My last two flights on that route were in First, one on UA, one on NZ.

UA for C or F. NZ's business class is tired.
