Trip Reports - Aruba World Poker Tour reportView Full Version : Aruba World Poker Tour report QuietLion Oct 19, 03, 6:54 pm Little flying, lotta poker. Report posted at www.liontales.com (http://www.liontales.com) QL pallensf Oct 19, 03, 7:11 pm Most appreciated... http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/thumbsup.gif ------------------ Patrick A. Inouye, LMT volunteer trip reports moderator l'etoile Oct 20, 03, 8:40 am Most of what I know about poker I learned from Kenny Rogers so I'm sure these are lame-brained questions. When you're playing at the level you are, are you constantly figuring the probability of every card being what you do/don't want it to be? How much is skill and ability? How much is bluff and how much is luck? Much of the skill in no-limit Hold 'Em is figuring out what your opponents have and confusing them about what you have. QL JohnG Oct 20, 03, 4:32 pm Highly interesting reading !! Thank you. He is young. You play fewer hands and bluffing is more important. You can try playing tournaments on line for free on one of the poker sites. PartyPoker, UltimateBet, and PokerStars are the most popular. QL |
